Bedford Express (BX) started in the 2003 season and has since spent over 20 years on track.

Here on BX, our mission is to provide all students with an opportunity, to learn and prepare for their futures. Team members are empowered to inspire others through STEAM, advocate for inclusivity and become future leaders. Team 1023 is driven by our motto “Make it better than we found it!"

We are a team located in Temperance, Michigan. For over twenty years, our team has experienced wins, losses, falls, air tank explosions, and everything in-between. In recent years, Bedford Express has been focusing on increased inclusivity, not only through FIRST, but worldwide as well. We pride ourselves on being a student led team, along with our K-12 pipeline, which brings robotics to all levels of our school system. While FIRST Robotics Competition is a program for high school aged students, we also have a team comprised of all eighth graders that competes in FRC competitions. The goal of this team is to create a smoother transition from FIRST Tech Challenge to FIRST Robotics competition.
