Car Wash Fundraiser

This year we held a car wash fundraiser at Forestview, there we raised over $300. This was both a good fundraising event and team bonding event!

Stadium Clean-Up

Stadium clean-up is a fundraising event our team does at our home football games. We sign up to pick up to clean up our stadium after each home game that we have.

FLL Kick-Off

Our high schoolers volunteer to coach and mentor Bedford's FLL teams. Now that their season has started we can help them analyze the video for the season and create mechanisms with their Legos.

FTC Kick-Off

We host a kick-off for all of our junior high teams. We hold classes and presentations on the different areas of robotics in the morning, having all the teams rotate through, then at noon, we play the FTC reveal video for the new season. After the video the teams break off to discuss the new field and strategies for this year's game. Each year our high schoolers also build the field for the game the night before kick off, this allows them to start planning and practice right away.

Homecoming Parade

Our team was invited to participate in the Bedford homecoming parade! We created a float based on this year's theme, collected candy to pass out, and invited one of our FTC teams, the Classical Engineers, to come along with us. We had a lot of fun at this event and were excited to be involved in our community events.

Goonettes Practices

Our team’s girls as well as our junior high girls continued practicing for Goonettes. The Goonettes Invitational will happen in October next month, and the girls have been working hard on drive practices, fine tuning the robot, and discussing drive strategy.

Subgroup Meetings

The teams subgroups continued to meet, preparing for outreach and impact events, as well as holding CAD classes and helping the FTC teams as they started their season.
