FIM District Macomb Event Winners!

Bedford Express made a trip to Sterling Heights, Michigan for our 2nd and final district event of the season! Presented by DTE, our Week 5 event ended in triumph as our team and alliance, teams 818 The Steel Armadillos and 7762 AutoPilots. Along with winning the competition, Bedford Express earned enough district points to qualify and advance to the FIRST in Michigan State Championship! Through hard work, determination, strategy, and professionalism, every subgroup on Bedford Express overcame obstacles to pull off an incredible performance to win the blue banner!

Woodie Flowers District Winner - Renee Rymanowicz

Along with winning our event, another special honor was awarded to an integral and dedicated member of our team, one of our head coaches, Renee Rymanowicz! Not only was it heartwarming and a no-brainer to nominate Coach Renee for this award, but watching as she was rewarded for her hard work on Bedford Robotics was a wonderful moment for the entire team! Congratulations Renee, we love you!

District Engineering Inspiration Award Winners

Finally, Bedford Express earned the prestigious District Engineering Inspiration Award that qualifies our team to compete for the State Engineering Inspiration Award! This award celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team's school organization and community. We are honored to share our passions for engineering inside and outside of our team and cannot wait for the chance to compete at the statewide level!
