April 20, 2026
Present: Pat Henry, Nick Bird, Rich Stewart, Jodi Russ, Lynn Bodai
Absent: Denny Costlow, Justin Hayter, Paul Nelson

Pat made a motion to appoint Lynn Bodai (FTC Coordinator) to the Boosters Board, Nick seconded. All in favor. Welcome Lynn!
Financial Report - This was run from the beginning of 2024 to include account balances at the beginning of 2025.

General
Registration for K-8 is ready to go. Lynn and Jodi worked on this and will get it out to the returning families in the next day or so. It can go live to the website and all schools on or around May 1, 2026.
FLL
All teams at both Explore and Challenge levels will compete with Lego for the last time in the fall. We will not upgrade any of them to the “Futures” level, as Lego will not be used again after this year.
FTC
We won’t be going to elementary schools this year to recruit because we have so many fifth graders.
Robo-Mules has been really beneficial. Capping that at 10 kids is best. Remaining teams will be no more than 15.
FRC
Struggled at States. Robot is pretty decent but got paired with teams that were struggling. Pat said he was proud of the kids for not getting down.
Mentor meeting to establish the structure and requirements will be in June. Nick will share the tree he has created with the board and we’ll discuss it at the next meeting.
Need to resubmit for Google for non-profits because it thinks we’re a school and it won’t allow the non-profit status.
