BX Big Sisters
For our monthly “Big Sisters” meet, some of the high school girls invited FTC girls to play pickle ball at White Park. The purpose of these monthly meet ups is to create a bond between our FTC and FRC girls. This encourages the junior highers to join an FRC team, as well as help them become more comfortable with the team.

Team Update Meetings
The team’s subgroups met on multiple occasions to work on projects for the off season. We prepared for our upcoming offseason event, IRI. We also made a schedule of off season tasks for our Marketing and Communications team, discussed many of our outreach events, and held a strategy meeting.
Soroptimist’s Year End Celebration
Soroptimist International of Monroe County is an organization that supports women and girls in their economic empowerment by providing access to education. Our girls were invited to Soroptimist’s 45th anniversary, a fun 80s themed party. We were given gracious funds to support our team’s girls. We had a great time connecting with the women of Soroptimist, they were very welcoming and we look forward to our continued partnership!

Hole In One For STEM
Our team supported one of our FTC teams, the Bionic Broncos, at their golf fundraiser. We brought both 1023’s and 8423’s robots to present along with the Bionic Broncos’ robot. This event helped to spread STEM to our community as well as raise funds for our FTC team.
