Week 5- February 9-14th

On Sunday February 15th, Bedford Express went to a Toledo Walleye ice hockey game. We went to this game to do their Chuck-A-Puck fundraiser where 75% of profits were donated back to our team. We were so grateful for that opportunity, and we had so much fun! Thank you to all the sponsors who came to the game and Toledo Walleye for allowing us to fundraise.

Build

Build has been very heavy this week with all of our machines running almost the whole week! We have been busy machining parts and getting them powder coated to make our robot look nice and sleek. On Saturday February, 14th we were able to start assembling all of our subsystems on the robot.

Strategy

On tableau we worked on making more graphs and changing some of our data to be number based so the graphs are easier to look at. We continued to work on dummy data to get an idea of what strategy will look like at competitions.

Programming

Our programming team is continuing to work with autos and getting the turret limelight working and tracking more accurately. New this year we are going to try to use LED lights to signal the transition periods in the matches. There would be a color that corresponds to when the scoring hub is active and non-active.
