Student Spotlight: Gabe Tegtmeyer (Build)

Our build team had a very busy ahead of them, beginning to put together our robot and finalize our design. Take a look and see what one of our team captions, Gabe Tegtmeyer has to say about the build team’s progress have made this week!

What is your subgroup working on this week in build season?

I have been mostly assembling the robot and matching various parts.

What has been the most challenging issue that has come up in your subgroup?

The most challenging issue this past week was making the shooter pivot shaft rotate freely. We had trouble with it binding up and not letting the shooter rotate freely.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in the build season so far?

My biggest accomplishment was designing the whole shooter assembly in CAD and seeing all fit into the robot.

What are you looking forward to during competition season?

I am looking forward to seeing the robot perform at competitions.
