Week 6 - Team Updates and Student and Sponsor Highlights
As we get closer and closer to our first competition, all subgroups have been working hard to finish projects and have a successful season!

We had a blast at our team picture day and were able to use some handy backdrops and props from our own field! It’s safe to say the pictures turned out great, here are some behind-the-scenes!

What is your subgroup working on this week in build season?
We have been working on getting our team's Impact Video done before the due date on February 14th. Me and our Media Mentor, Nick Bird, have been preparing our Media members to use Adobe editing products for the past 4 months to prepare for making this video on time.
What has been the most challenging issue that has come up in your subgroup?
I would have to say that the most challenging moment of this year's build season has been finishing our team's impact video before the deadline. With only a few members with experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, we don’t have the luxury of manpower when it comes to our projects.
What has been your biggest accomplishment in the build season so far?
I’d say my biggest accomplishment this season was when I finished editing this season’s impact video. Throughout the entirety of weeks 5-6, I have been consistently showing up to our center to work on the video so it would be done on time. My work paid off when the video got greenlit by both our coaches and the impact team on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.
What are you looking forward to during competition season?
This competition season, I am looking forward to team victories in both impact and the crescendo game, gathering good footage of our team’s robot in action on the field, and all the fun moments to be shared with me and the rest of Bedford Express.
